Tax-Exempt Donations to RARE

Note: We are currently applying for 501(C)(3) status as a nonprofit organization.   Our legal and accounting team are reviewing our application documents at the moment, and we plan on submitting the application by the end of February, 2023.  Our organization was created in September, 2021.  According the IRS website:

'When the IRS approves a timely filed exemption application, exempt status is recognized back to the date the organization was created. Thus, while an application is pending, the organization can treat itself as exempt from federal income tax under section 501(c)(3)'
